Greetings to all,
First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!
My Idea back in 2011 for a Fri. Night Blip was well received, so it’s time to redo it again since we have new members including my self to keep everyone in touch & to keep the moral up, since there is not enough snow for ski’s on the planes yet & cold on the fingers, this will be a way to chat & post pictures of all your new birds.
Jim has been a big help getting me registered to the form here, so I can post with you guys. Thanks Jim.
Al talked me into indoor flying at KDSS in Kincardine on Fri. nights. I flew my Mayhem for the first time flying in 4 years and happy to report, came home all in one pc. What a blast. I have a new PBF that I just finished up & will maiden it this JAN. 8 & will report next week how it went. Thanks Al for getting me interested. Any one else interested in going, come on over & have some fun. The cords for the school are N 44 10.610 W 081 37.697
What's everyone up to as far as building new planes this winter? Any one got a project on the go? Lets hear what you have been up to.
We want to hear from everyone. Keep the bad language down & the kids can get involved to. Feel free to post pictures as well. We won't look at the last wrinkle,
that just won't come out of that covering. We have all been there, done that. (Well, maybe I should just speak for myself) I know that made you smile.....
To start the ball rolling, (don't everyone faint now) I just finished my Primo that I started over 5 years ago. Just a little trim to finish it off. Have been toying with different ideas on what I want on the top of the wings yet. Sounds simple eh? When I post pictures, please don't laugh at the winkle, ok?
I also just finished up my PBF for indoor flying this winter & have a wing built for a Slick 360 elec.
that I am scratch building. (I hated to type that word Elec., since I am a glow man) more discussion on that in later Fri. Night Blips!!!
Now, lets hear from you & remember, post those pictures!
It's time to pack up now & head for Kincardine for another night of indoor flying.
Stay tuned next Fri. night for another Blip!!!
Tip of the week #1) don't cuss when your fingers get stuck to balsa with CA.
